BitSTACK Pro
The BitSTACK Pro is a microcontroller baord based on the ATMega 32u4 and functions to teach learners of all ages how to interface with and program microcontrollers. Using the 28 pins on the right hand side of the board you can interface with thousands of different modules and devices with some simple wires and code.
The Pro is the 'big brother' of the BitSTACK Micro, and hence is packed with more exciting features and abilities. It focuses on both the electronics and coding aspects of digital technology allowing you to build and code your projects in a simple and interactive way. Along with this, unlike many currently available AVR boards, the Pro has an in-built battery charger allowing you to take your projects with you on the go!
Programming this device is easy using either the 6 pin ISP header, the 4 pin USB2.0 header or the SPI interface in the 28 pin header you can interface with the Pro. Once plugged into a computer, you can then use your IDE of choice (as long as it supports AVR microcontrollers) to write and upload your program to the Pro. You program the Pro using the C & C++ programming languages meaning it's quick and simple to pickup and putdown. Along with this, these languages are commonly used in computing and hence theres a polethora of learning materials online (and also on our community tab).
