The BitSTACK Micro is the 'little brother' of the BitSTACK Pro, with the more reserved ATMega 16A-AU microcontroller and lower profile assisting hardware alloing the device to be MUCH smaller while keeping the majority of the connectivity and functionality.
The 32 pins of GPIO and power connectivity on the back of the Micro allow for incorperation into any projects needing a small form factor microcontroller baord and lots of power! The Micro focuses on both the electronics and coding aspects of digital technology allowing you to build and code your projects in a simple and interactive way.
Programming this device is easy using the ISP pins within the GPIO conncetors on the rear of the device. Once plugged into a computer, you can then use your IDE of choice (as long as it supports AVR microcontrollers) to write and upload your program to the Micro. You program the Micro using the C & C++ programming languages meaning it's quick and simple to pick up and put down. Along with this, these languages are commonly used in computing and hence theres a polethora of learning materials online (and also on our community tab).
BitSTACK are committed to helping teachers intergrate this technology into classrooms, hence, we also offter learning classes and materials for teachers that will provide them wil fun ideas and classroom projects for all ages.
